Fall 2008 will continue to see a continuation in the growth of the Coppley Collection based on high quality fabrics and construction.

Italian fabrics are the key to the clothing and shirt tie assortments. These fabrics remain the best for seasonal fashion direction, color direction and overall quality.

The fabric direction Coppley has taken in fabrics is complemented perfectly by the introduction of new silhouettes for Fall 2008.

The Biella model addresses the need for a trimmer fit with a higher armhole, smaller sleeve, shorter length and stylish cutaway. This model fits the majority of customers.

In addition, Coppley is introducing the Vierra model for the customer who wants a younger attitude in fit and styling. Viara has an 18 1/4 " point to point, 29" length with trimmer lapels and accentuated cutaway. This will be offered with the plain front Dean trouser.

The existing models Minelli, Merona and Bocelli have an increased cutaway. The fit remains the same.

The Coppley models complement fine clear cut suit and jacket fabrics.

Fall 2008 will see an opportunity to style jackets from a choice of great details. Elbow patches in suede or corduroy are complemented by a matching suede or corduroy under collar. In addition, Coppley will offer button through throat latches and back gussets.

Double breasted looks will be stronger as well as peak lapels.

The Fall 2008 direction for shirts is dressy, sophisticated and textured. In patterns, stripes remain the most important, while textured solids are also key for coordinating with sport coats.

• Chest piece is basted in horizontally. Enabling us now to hand work during pressing to mould proper shape into the garment while removing fullness from the chest.
• New sewing and pressing techniques introduced at the shoulder seam which allows for proper pressing and shaping of the sleeve head. Now with narrower point to points and trimmer fitting garments the shoulder allows for the same comfort the customer has had in a fuller fitting garment.
• Changes made to the setting of the shoulder pad which allows for a softer, suppler shoulder.
• Introduced a bias cut Bemberg tape along the top of shoulder seam which gives more structure to the shoulder line.
• Introduced one piece collar and softer, suppler undercollar. This improves the Shape and drape of the Collar.
• All sleeves have been prepared for surgeon cuffs. Lining and fabric have been added enabling retailers to add a surgeon cuff if needed.
• All patch pockets are lined with Bemberg lining. Sensuous to the hand and cosmetically more attractive.
• Introduced a lighter weight canvas for softer more luxurious handle.
• All buttons on coats and trousers are cross stitched. This makes for a more European look and adds strength.

• Fronts and backs are pre-creased before sewing to create a cleaner front and back, allowing a natural shape.
• Superior waistband construction that eliminates any impressions, creating a cleaner look.
• Invisible fly tack for a cleaner appearance.
• All buttons cross-stitched for extra strength.
• Fine quality ecru Italian fancy pocketing for comfort and durability.
• Hand pressed pockets for clean finish and attractive presentation.
• Dress trouser features non-roll waistband with snugtex for extra support, comfort and appearance.
• Removal of the split back and tong loop.
